Category Natural / Scenic beauty

Mai ki Bagia, located about 1 km to the east of the Narmada Mandir, is also called “Charanotdak Kund”. It is known for its natural beauty. According to the folk tale prevalent among the villagers, Narmada used to play at this place with her friend, a beautiful 12-year-old girl named Gulbakavali, at her tender age. Hence the name Narmada Mai. “Gulbakavali” is actually the impersonation of a plant.
