It is hereby informed to the general public that an application has been submitted for land acquisition for the thermal power project of New Zone India Private Limited, Anuppur.

The process of acquisition of the said lands is being carried out in the Office of the Collector, Anuppur under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act No. 30 of 2013). The proceedings under Section 4 of the said Act are currently in progress.

In relation to the acquisition of these lands, a Social Impact Assessment Report and a Social Impact Management Plan have been prepared and submitted by the assessment team. A copy of the said Social Impact Assessment Report and Management Plan is attached herewith for public review.
