Since the State Government is satisfied that the land described in Columns (2) to (5) of the Schedule is required for the purpose mentioned in Column (6), it intends to acquire 35.341 hectares of private land situated in Village Raksa, Tehsil Anuppur, District Anuppur, for the operation of the 2×800 MW Thermal Power Project allotted to NewZone India Private Limited.

For this project, proceedings under Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act No. 30 of 2013) have been carried out. The Social Impact Assessment Report, Social Impact Management Plan, recommendations of the Expert Group, and recommendations of the Collector have been duly recorded. These documents have also been published in two daily newspapers and uploaded on the official website of District Anuppur.

Further, in accordance with Rule 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2015, prior consent has been obtained for the acquisition of 35.341 hectares of private land in Village Raksa, Tehsil Anuppur, District Anuppur, for NewZone India Private Limited. More than 80 percent of the affected landowners within the project area have provided their consent for the acquisition of the land.

Since the State Government is satisfied that the land described in Columns (2) to (5) of the Schedule is required for the purpose specified in Column (6), it intends to acquire 6.625 hectares of private land situated in Village Kolmi, Tehsil Anuppur, District Anuppur, for the operation of the 2 × 800 MW Thermal Power Project allotted by the State Government to NewZone India Private Limited.

For the said project, proceedings under Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act No. 30 of 2013) have been undertaken. The Social Impact Assessment Report, Social Impact Management Plan, recommendations of the Expert Group, and recommendations of the Collector have been duly recorded. These documents have also been published in two daily newspapers and uploaded on the official website of District Anuppur.

Further, prior consent for the acquisition of 6.625 hectares of private land in Village Kolmi, Tehsil Anuppur, District Anuppur, affected by the project, has been obtained in accordance with Rule 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2015, for NewZone India Private Limited. More than 80 percent of the landowners affected by the project area have given their consent for the acquisition of the land.

Final Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Report for the proposed 4×800 MW Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Project (Reservoir & Anicut) in Anuppur District, Madhya Pradesh. The report presents the assessment of likely social impacts arising from land acquisition, socio-economic profile of affected families, stakeholder consultations, mitigation measures, and the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) framework in accordance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

It is hereby informed to the general public that an application has been submitted for land acquisition for the thermal power project of New Zone India Private Limited, Anuppur.

The process of acquisition of the said lands is being carried out in the Office of the Collector, Anuppur under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act No. 30 of 2013). The proceedings under Section 4 of the said Act are currently in progress.

In relation to the acquisition of these lands, a Social Impact Assessment Report and a Social Impact Management Plan have been prepared and submitted by the assessment team. A copy of the said Social Impact Assessment Report and Management Plan is attached herewith for public review.

            For the establishment of the proposed 2 × 800 MW Thermal Power Project of New Zone India Private Limited, acquisition of the lands as detailed below in Village Raksa and Kolmi, Tehsil Anuppur, District Anuppur is proposed under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The process of acquisition of private land for the establishment of the project is proposed.

An application has been submitted by M/s Anuppur Thermal Energy M.P. Pvt. Ltd., Anuppur for the acquisition of private lands situated in villages Chhatai, Pachkhura, Chhulha, Bhatadand, Gulidand, Pathraudi, Mentola, Katkona, Changeri and Payari under Tehsil Kotma, for the construction of a railway corridor, reservoir, and anicut.

For public purpose, under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013), Social Impact Assessment studies are required to be conducted in accordance with Section 4 of the said Act.

It is hereby informed to the general public that the State Government, on behalf of M/s Anuppur Thermal Energy (M.P.) Private Limited, has submitted an application for acquisition of private lands situated in villages Katkona, Baihatola, Dogariyakhurd, Bhatadand, Mentola, Koriyakhurd, Kothi, and Tarsili, under District Anuppur, for the proposed railway corridor of the Kotma Thermal Power Project.

The process of land acquisition for the said lands is being carried out by the Collectorate Office, Anuppur, under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013). The procedure under Section 4 of the said Act is currently in progress.

In relation to the acquisition of the said lands, the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Team has prepared and submitted the Social Impact Assessment Report and the Social Impact Management Plan. A copy of the said Social Impact Assessment Report and Management Plan is enclosed for public inspection.

2/ As per the provisions of Section 6 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, a Public Hearing is required to be conducted in the project-affected areas/villages for the purpose of Social Impact Assessment.
