Shree Sarvodaya Jain Temple Amarkantak

In Sri Sarvodaya Digambar Jain Temple, a wonderful, beautiful, huge, world-renowned 24-ton Ashtadhatu statue of the first Tirthankara, Param Aradhya 1008 Lord Adinath, lotus-crowned (total weight 52 tons, including 28 tons of Ashtadhatu), has been established.

This temple is unique in the nation and in the world.

This statue was established by Gyanwaridhi Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Mahamuniraj and Sangh at the auspicious time of Thursday, November 6, 2006, in the presence of 44 Nirgrantha Munis.

Magnificent artifacts, such as the construction of the temple, are being created using lime and preserved stones. Iron and cement are not being used at all in the construction of this temple.

By Air

The nearest airport is Dumna Jabalpur (Jabalpur Airport) in the city of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh (240 km) which has daily flight service to Delhi and Mumbai. One can easily get taxi from Jabalpur to Amarkantak.

By Train

The nearest railway stations are Pendra Road (Chhattisgarh) and Anuppur 43 km and 75 km. One can easily get taxi from Pendra Road (Chhattisgarh) and Anuppur.

Amarkantak is very well connected by roads.
